Question: Do you work all year round? Answer: Yes, we do. Most of the roofing and vinyl siding products can be installed year-round with the exception of some roof coatings, weather permitting. Question: Do you employ your own roofers and siding installers or do you sub-contract the work? Answer: All of our residential and commercial work is performed by trained roofers employed by Fiddler Roofing. Each project is monitored by Scott Pinkerton, the owner, or Randy Fisher, the Sales Manager. Question: Are you licensed and insured? Answer: Yes. Fiddler Roofing's insurance coverage exceeds the Utah state minimum requirements for liability and workman's compensation. Question: Do you do roof conversions? Answer: Yes. We can convert flat roofs to pitches roofs. We also have lifetime 1-ply systems that we can install on low pitched roofs for a considerable savings to you over converting your flat roof to a pitched roof. Question: Do you perform small roofing repairs? Answer: Most definitely! Small roofing repairs make up a good portion of our roofing work. Question: Do you do rain gutters too? Answer: Often we're able to reuse your existing rain gutter if it's of the seamless aluminum type. However, some re-roofing jobs may require a gutter company to re-adjust the gutter system or re-hang it. Question: What is ice and watershield protection? Answer: Ice and watershield is a self-stick waterproofing membrane designed to protect your decking against water damage caused by ice dams. The ice and watershield should be installed to extend at least two foot inside the heated walls and sometimes requires 2 courses. Six foot ice and watershield should be installed in the roof valleys and around fireplace bases and skylights. We also add additional protection by stripping a 6 inch piece of ice and watershield over the metal eaves strip to prevent wicking. Question: Do you clean up after every project? Answer: We make every effort to protect your lawn and flower gardens from debris. Our crews are graded not only on the quality of their workmanship but also on how well they clean up after themselves upon completing the project. Question: Do you perform other types of work? Answer: Yes. We install vinyl siding and vinyl or aluminum soffit and fascia as well as enamel or PVC painted aluminum trim work. Fiddler Roofing also installs lifetime vinyl windows, with a minimum order of 3 windows, please, unless with a siding or soffit and fascia project. Question: Do you provide referrals? Answer: We are more than happy to provide referrals upon request. |
